Beautiful surroundings and excellent service
During our stay, we were delighted by the stunning countryside that surrounded the inn, perfect for long walks. The room was well-equipped and quiet, making for a restful night. The staff went above and beyond, offering valuable local tips and genuinely friendly service. One aspect that could be improved is the dining options. while they were decent, a bit more variety would enhance the experience.

The family room offered a comfortable stay with a massive shower and a large TV, making it an ideal choice for relaxation. The staff were particularly commendable, staying past closing time to assist us after a long journey, which showcased their welcoming nature. noise from neighboring rooms disrupted our sleep a few times, and the quaint old building may not suit everyone’s taste.

We stayed in the family room, which was spacious and had a massive shower. The staff were incredibly friendly, ensuring we felt welcome right from our check-in after a long journey. There was plenty of tea and coffee available, making our stay even more enjoyable.
My kids wished there was a bit more space for their toys. The bedside lamp wasn’t working at all, which could really have made a difference for evening reading or bedtime routines.

Had a lovely stay in a deluxe double room. Comfy bed, clean private bathroom with fresh toiletries. Nice flat-screen TV, kettle for tea/coffee, and friendly atmosphere. The pub vibe was chill, and the location was perfect near the West Pennine Moors. Super friendly staff made us feel welcome and even handed out flowers for Mothers Day.
